GUDFOOD was incepted in 2001 as a family owned company. The family takes pride itself with a history of long and fruitful association with several foreign business houses. Through hard work and market-oriented strategies, the company progressed from a family enterprise to a professionally managed company.
For more than 60 years, GUDFOOD directors have been exporting and importing food & beverages for retail & institutional use. The company only trades products of international repute which are either already in demand or for which it has created a demand in the Indian & international markets. The company has grown leaps and bounds in the past 11 years and is continuously on the lookout for new business opportunities.
We have a company owned office and warehouse in the New Delhi, capital of India. Rest of the India we have dedicated distributors. Over the years we had an excellent association with all the major retail chains and have been a preferred vendor to major supermarkets such as Metro Cash & Carry, Big Bazaar, Aditya Birla More, Reliance, Bharti Wal-Mart, and Le Marche etc…

Our directors are the founder members of India’s biggest importers forum called FIFI (Forum of Indian Food Importers). The formation of this Forum for Food Importers of Food was initiated by couple of like-minded importers of food products into India in August 2009. As a representative of food & beverage importers from India, the objective of the FIFI is clear to promote, facilitate, empower and support food import in India. On the policy the policy and legislation front, our modus operandi to achieve this is to highlight issues such as non-tariff barriers, high customs duties, PFA Laws and inter-state taxation and borders laws.
